PayPoint and System One Celebrate One Million Ticket Sales

PayPoint retailers in the Greater Manchester area have sold one million System One bus tickets to the public transport users in the region. This sales achievement highlights the success of the ticketing scheme which was launched via PayPoint outlets in 2006.

PayPoint retailers in the area can take advantage of the associated sales when System One customers regularly visit their local PayPoint outlets to purchase transport tickets. Customers use convenient PayPoint outlets to speed up their journeys by buying their tickets in advance of travel. PayPoint retailers earn 2% commission on all System One ticket schemes.

Mike Igoe, PayPoint’s Retail Director commented: “By introducing transport ticketing schemes to the PayPoint terminal, our retailers have cemented their store in the local community by offering a point of difference to their ever increasing competition.  We’re delighted to have had one million ticket transactions for System One and we look forward to selling a million more!”
