PayPoint overview

Strong half year’s performance, driven by a combination of good revenue growth (31%) and operational gearing (40% operating margin).

Results driven through implementation of PayPoint’s core business strategy, namely to continue to:

  • Broaden the range and volume of payments across our network, and
  • Grow and optimise agent coverage

BBC TV licence award is a major milestone in our development, affirming our credibility as sole provider.

Prompted consumer awareness of PayPoint now 60%, up 24ppts on prior year.

Acquired Metacharge, an internet payment service provider, on 1 November.
