PayPoint Romania, one of the main cash payment operators in Romania, has signed an agreement with ApaVital Iasi, the main water services provider in Iasi for the collection of bill payments.
The new contract is further evidence of PayPoint’s successful strategy of building an extensive portfolio of clients across a diverse range of service sectors, allowing customers to pay as many bills as possible through PayPoint terminals.
PayPoint intends to continue expanding in the sectors it already serves by signing up partners with a national presence as well as with regional providers, and also plans to expand its bill payment services into further sectors where it doesn’t currently operate. “The partnership with ApaVital Iasi is part of our strategy to optimise our national presence, while strengthening our position in Iasi County,” said Mugur Dogariu. “As a result, residents of Iasi County can now enjoy the benefits of quick and easy access to PayPoint’s cash payment services to pay their water bills at no extra cost.”
In Romania, the company officially launched its bill payment service under the PayPoint brand in August 2008 and has expanded its client portfolio by signing partnerships with a range of companies in service sectors including utilities, financial - insurance, cable TV and mobile telecom.
